How to safely remove pubic lice
How Do You Treat A Pubic Lice Infestation? August 1, 2008 by naturalwellness
All lice are parasites and an infestation of these little blood suckers, (really, they are blood suckers), can be frightening and embarrassing. You may ask, How do some lice end up in certain places on the body? Do they choose where they want to live? The answer is no. The answer is that there are 3 different species of lice that live on humans and they are:
Pediculus humanus (Head lice)
Pediculus humanus corporis (Body louse, clothes louse)
Pthirus pubis (“Crab” louse, pubic louse)
Pubic lice AKA “Crabs” or “Crab Lice” are spread from person to person by sexual contact. They are very rarely spread by clothing, bedding or toilet seats.
A pubic lice infestation is considered to be a sexually transmitted disease.Like any sexually transmitted disease, people who are sexual contacts need to be examined for crab lice and treated and sexual contact between the infested person and their sexual contact should be avoided until the parties are treated and reevaluated to make sure the infestation is gone.
The crab lice removal products that you will find at the drugstore are all pesticides that are highly toxic. Unfortunately, we are being bombarded daily by more and more toxins in our environment and the last thing you want to do is to add to the toxic load that you are carrying. Most substances that you put on your skin will get absorbed and you do not want toxic your skin to absorb pesticides!
It is hard to believe that pesticides would be allowed on the market for human use but they are. Recently, I read a book, “The Brain Wash” by Michele Schroffro Cook who is a naturopathic physician. She estimates that in just 15 years, there will be more people suffering with brain diseases than there will be people suffering with all cancers and heart disease combined. This frightening prophecy has been well thought out based on the increasing number of toxins that we are exposed to on a daily basis. Most of these toxins are disguised in the form of medicines and personal care products. But pesticides are pretty obvious toxins and you do not want to use them. You need to use a totally safe and natural product that has thankfully been invented..
An ingenious natural pubic lice treatment that is both safe and effective is Genitrex. Genitrex is a gentle shampoo that contains enzymes that break open lice on contact. When the enzymes break open the exoskeleton of the louse, it basically implodes. So, as you wash the area of infestation, you wash away the crab lice and their eggs or nits that the louse has attached to your hairshafts. The glue that the louse makes to hold the nits to the hair is dissolved by Genitrex so after one use, 99% of all crab lice and their nits are gone! Genitrex ends the nightmare of pubic lice AKA crab lice safely! Lice R Gone is a natural head lice treatment that is an enzyme filled shampoo that removes head lice naturally and on contact. http://www.licergone.com
